A
member of Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC), George Loh is asking
the Chief Justice to fast track the establishment of Financial Tribunals to
deal with corrupt public office holders. The North Dayi Member of Parliament

exercise in futility. Outraged by revelations at Parliament’s Public Accounts Committee
three days sitting in Tamale, George Loh on the
sidelines told Citi News corruption was pervasive especially
in the Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies across the country. He kicked against the rotation of
District Coordinating Directors and District Finance Officers. He called for
the outright dismissal of District Coordinating Directors and District Finance
Officers whose irresponsibility continues to cause financial impropriety at the
various district assemblies. George Loh called for deeper collaboration to
fight corruption at various levels of the Ghanaian economy. He said there must
be bipartisan approach to fighting corruption in the country. He urged
government to resource the Judiciary, the Attorney Generals Department, the
Auditor Generals Department, the Ghana Police Service and other state
