GFA boss swear second oath at World cup commission

The Presidential Commission of enquiry into Ghana performance at the world cup has been forced to consider urgent steps to deal with accusation of bias, unfairness and prejudgment. It was fireworks at the commission when the chairman attempted to compelled the GFA Boss, Mr. Kwasi Nyantakyi to swear another oath to be truthful in spite of him having done that on his appearance on Tuesday. He was infuriated by the commission demands and accused it of treating him unfairly. This is a second time a similar allegation is being leveled against the commission Haurice Ankrah , a member of the world cup planning committee, last month also accused the committee of being judgmental. Publicly most people know the GFA boss, Kwasi Nyantakyi as a Christian but suddenly he chose to swear by the holy Quran which triggered the entire scuffle during the proceedings. Although Nyantakyi insisted that he was a Muslim, Chairman of the Commission said irrespective of that claim the GFA boss concluded his oath-taking wrongly. The Commission insisted that even if Mr. Nyantakyi is a Muslim, he ended this first oath with 'so help me God' instead of 'so help me Allah', which is the normal practice. Justice Dzamefe then announced he was using his power of veto to compel the GFA boss to take another oath that should end with 'so help me Allah'. Meanwhile, two renowned lawyers have described as strange a decision by the World cup Commission to compel GFA boss, Kwasi Nyantakyi, to take a second oath at the Commission's hearing.
