Tamale NPP begins training on election monitoring



Tamale North New Patriotic Party (NPP) youth wing has begun recruiting committed party members for training on election monitoring and policing of the ballot box. This forms part of moves to avoid rigging in the upcoming 2016 general elections. According to the Tamale north NPP youth wing Secretary, Abdullah Mohammed Mashoud, the NPP will curtail all forms of electoral malpractices in 2016 to avoid another election petition hearing. He thus implored the party’s youth especially those in the Northern Region to rekindle the spirit of voluntarism for a resounding victory in 2016. Abdullah Mohammed Mashoud disclosed the formation of watchdog committees charged with the responsibility of mobilizing and training NPP youth to protect the ballot in 2016. He commended the NPP National Council for the appointment of Mustapha Abdul Salam and Anthony Abayifa Karbo as Deputy national youth Organizer and Deputy national communication Director. Abdullah Mohammed Mashoud thanked Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Ado for his inspiration words saying, “As rightly said by Nana Akufo Ado that we have now to gird our loins, we wish to humbly appeal to these hard working gentlemen that the journey to the flagstaff house and by extension salvaging Ghanaians from the corrupt NDC administration starts now.”
