A total of 2,313 students of eight
health Training institutions in the Northern region have been matriculated. The
students who were offered admissions will study programs in General Nursing, Community Nursing, Midwifery,
Diploma in Environmental Health, Certificate programs among others which are
accredited and affiliated to some public universities in the country. In her

Comfort Kona urged citizens to play their part by ensuring that their
environments are kept clean to rid the country of filth. MS. Kona stated that
the 2,313 matriculates made it into the various institutions after a rigorous
selection process hence the need to take their studies serious to be able to
come out as successful health professionals to save lives. She made a
passionate appeal to the central government, District assemblies and other
benevolent organizations to help the school authorities with their Hostel
facilities, Classroom and vehicular challenges confronting the health
institutions. She further urged students to desist from watching all kind of
unprecedented movies but use technology productively to enhance their studies.
