The
Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale has asked the Gender,
Children and social protection minister and the Interior mister to institute an
investigation into the ongoing sex scandal in the Tamale Metropolis. According
to the Concerned
Citizens Association of Tamale, those who are found culpable of the barbaric
act should be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the country. Speaking
in an exclusive interview with Fiila News, Basharu Alhassan Dabali, President
of the Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale says the perpetrators of the
act are as guilty as those involve in the spread of it on the social media
platforms. Mr. Dabali described the situation as unfortunate, uncultured and
western which is not adoptive to the cultural patterns of the country. The association also made a passionate appeal
to residents who are found peeved over the nude pictures should exercise
restrains and not extend their anger onto the relatives of those involve in the
scandal. The Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale has been silent on the
issue since the pictures of over 30 young ladies went viral within the
metropolis. There have been series of sex tapes or nude picture floating on
social media. It all started from two young Kumasi-based students. Another one
which involved an alleged son of Minister, Hannah Tetteh and a daughter of the
Vice Chancellor of University of Ghana leaked. The latest was the almighty
Tamale sex tapes and pictures that have become the center of discussion in the
region.
