Gender minister asked to probe nude pictures scandal in Tamale



The Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale has asked the  Gender, Children and social protection minister and the Interior mister to institute an investigation into the ongoing sex scandal in the Tamale Metropolis. According to the Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale, those who are found culpable of the barbaric act should be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the country. Speaking in an exclusive interview with Fiila News, Basharu Alhassan Dabali, President of the Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale says the perpetrators of the act are as guilty as those involve in the spread of it on the social media platforms. Mr. Dabali described the situation as unfortunate, uncultured and western which is not adoptive to the cultural patterns of the country.  The association also made a passionate appeal to residents who are found peeved over the nude pictures should exercise restrains and not extend their anger onto the relatives of those involve in the scandal. The Concerned Citizens Association of Tamale has been silent on the issue since the pictures of over 30 young ladies went viral within the metropolis. There have been series of sex tapes or nude picture floating on social media. It all started from two young Kumasi-based students. Another one which involved an alleged son of Minister, Hannah Tetteh and a daughter of the Vice Chancellor of University of Ghana leaked. The latest was the almighty Tamale sex tapes and pictures that have become the center of discussion in the region.
