Nana Addo promises to run a clean campaign in 2016

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Presidential candidate, Nana Akufo Addo is promising to run a clean and issue-based campaign ahead of the 2016 elections. Nana Addo says the era where a campaign is run on insults should be a thing of the past. Speaking at a special thanksgiving service in Accra, Nana Addo said all party members must work together to ensure the NPP wins the 2016 election. Nana Addo eased to victory with 94.35 percent of votes during the party’s recent National Delegates Conference while his biggest opponent Alan Kyeremanteng only managed a 4.75 percent. Nana Addo and his vice presidential candidate say the Mahama-led administration has failed to provide the “Better Ghana” and have urged Ghanaians to vote for the NPP. Dr. Bawumia recently criticized the government for what he described as its “reckless borrowing”,which has compounded the economic challenges Ghanaians are facing.
